The third book in the gripping Tiger’s Curse series!

With the head-to-head battle against the villainous Lokesh behind her, Kelsey confronts a new heartbreak: in the wake of his traumatic experience, her beloved Ren no longer remembers who she is. As the trio continues their quest by challenging five cunning and duplicitous dragons, Ren and Kishan once more vie for her affections–leaving Kelsey more confused than ever.

Fraught with danger, filled with magic, and packed with romance, Tiger’s Voyage brings Kelsey and her two tiger princes one step closer to breaking the curse.

Tiger’s Voyage is the third novel in The Tiger Series, and is an excellent read. Continuing where Tiger’s Quest leaves off, Kelsey and company’s journey to break the curse put on the tiger’s this time leads us to dragons. Each of these dragons reacts very differently to the trio, and it is here that the tiger’s differing reactions to situations can really be seen. Kelsey continues to grow in her own as a character, however I would like to see her push herself more without someone first suggesting she do. For Kelsey this book is much more an emotional growth then a physical one.

Colleen Houck writes a compelling love triangle that shows that love isn’t always easy. In Tiger’s Voyage we see a Kelsey who struggles between the decision to follow her heart or her head, and that sometimes the choice is much more difficult than an outside look would see. For the first time in the series, Kelsey is journeying with both her tiger’s at the same time, and you can see the pull she feels between both Ren and Kishan. As two completely contrasting loves, I often find myself as torn as Kelsey often is between the two, however Tiger’s Voyage settled the decision for me in a way the earlier novels hadn’t. Despite wanting to sometimes shake a character until they stopped being so foolish, once I picked up Tiger’s Voyage I couldn’t put it down.

Love story aside, Tiger’s Voyage does not pull the punches when it comes to action scenes, and there is one in particular that may make a reader think twice before diving into the ocean. While Tiger’s Voyage occasionally suffers from ‘middle book syndrome’ in which little is really finalized or begun, you can tell that the ending is approaching, and our characters are preparing for the fight of their lives. I am eagerly waiting for Tiger’s Destiny’s release in 2012.
